Recruitment Business Partner
Igne are seeking an experienced Recruitment Business Partner to join an established HR team and provide dedicated focus on recruitment. This is a newly created role and provides an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make the transition into an internal role or someone already doing a similar role but the autonomy to shape and grow an internal recruitment function in a rapidly company.
We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services. Igne’s six service categories are: site investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, water wells, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

This is a full-time role and can be based at any one of our UK offices. Igne operates hybrid working in line with our commitment to supporting a positive work-life balance for our employees, so the successful candidate will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Drive recruitment efforts, utilising job boards, building talent pools, headhunting, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn to meet recruitment KPIs
- Embrace Igne’s social values and apply them to the recruitment process
- Update current and implement new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
- Develop a suite of recruitment metrics
- Take a proactive approach to recruitment and identify, build and develop new sourcing methods
- Develop the existing recruitment software to drive greater automation and efficiency
- Build strong relationships with the operational leads and hiring managers, coach and support them on interviewing techniques and ensure the right positions are prioritised to meet the business needs
- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
- Contribute content and make use of social media to attract suitable candidates
- Stay up-to-date on relevant recruitment legislation and advise as necessary
- Support and build relationship with academic establishments to fulfil graduate hiring needs
- Participate in job fairs and career events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure we are maximising our opportunities to find the best talent
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as an internal recruiter (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
- Strong decision-making skills
