Internal Recruiter

Igne is seeking an Internal Recruiter based in Daventry to support our growing organisation. Are you an organised and pro-active recruitment professional looking for your next career move?  This is an excellent role for an experienced in-house or agency recruiter who thrives in a fast paced, people focused environment. The position offers a hybrid working pattern and part time hours will be considered.

 

We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services. Igne’s six service categories are: ground investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, specialist drilling, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles across the organisation
  • Draft and post job adverts, ensuring they are optimised for search and aligned with the Igne brand guidelines
  • Screen CVs, shortlist candidates and conduct screening interviews via Microsoft Teams
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback to candidates
  • Manage offer negotiations
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and workforce need.

 What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an in-house (preferred) or agency role
  • Industry experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate attraction methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple vacancies at once
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, ATS platforms and job boards

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary on offer is up to £35,000 per annum
  • 33 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays

Assistant Utility Surveyor

Igne is seeking an Assistant Utility Surveyor to join the team in Bellshill. Are you interested in starting a career in Utility Surveying? Do you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions? We are looking for a motivated Assistant Utility Surveyor to join our busy Surveys Department at Igne. If you have a full UK driving licence and are comfortable working away from home, we would welcome your application. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain vehicles and equipment before and after site visits
  • Set up and operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, EML, and GPR under the guidance of surveyors
  • Ensure all quality control procedures are consistently followed on site
  • Load and unload survey equipment, keeping accurate records and submitting daily site sheets
  • Support post-processing of survey data and help compile survey reports and AutoCAD drawings
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by sharing images, text, and updates of your work

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) and/or 2 A levels
  • Enthusiasm to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable working away from home
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

Project Manager

Igne is seeking a proactive Project Manager to join the Specialist Drilling division in Warrington. You’ll be responsible for managing small to medium-sized projects from initial enquiry through to completion across borehole drilling, pumps and water system servicing. This role could be suited to a Site Engineer or Driller looking for the next stage in your career.  A full UK driving license and a willingness to travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from quotation to completion, ensuring all client requirements are met
  • Conduct site visits with both corporate and domestic clients
  • Programme and coordinate works effectively
  • Liaise with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adequate resources (rigs, engineers, technicians) are available to meet demand
  • Oversee fieldwork delivery and maintain commercial and technical records
  • Manage project finances, including accurate measurement and timely invoicing
  • Produce and brief health and safety documentation (RAMS, H&S plans)
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations
  • Support the business unit with internal non-commercial projects and assist senior management as required

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in project management within drilling, water systems, or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) – Essential
  • Experience or knowledge of drilling methodologies and borehole pumps – Desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure
  • Relevant industry experience (both field and office preferred)
  • Full valid UK driving licence
